Feel good about food again

Warm, evidence-based coaching for people who are done with diets — more energy, easier mealtimes, and not a syn, point or guilt-trip in sight.

Sound familiar?

If any of this is your week, you're in the right kitchen

The 3pm appointment

Every afternoon, same time, there you are — face in the biscuit tin you swore off at breakfast, wondering where the energy went.

The 47 open tabs

Carbs are fine; carbs are the enemy. Breakfast is essential; breakfast is optional. You've read everything and every article disagrees with the last one.

Three dinners, no takers

You cook three different meals a night and nobody finishes any of them — then you eat toast standing at the counter at 9pm and call it supper.

Monday, again

Every Monday is a fresh start and every Thursday it's quietly over. You're not short of willpower — you're short of a plan built for an actual week.

Fine, but flat

Nothing's wrong, exactly. You're just more tired than you'd like, meals feel like admin, and you can't remember when food last felt like fun.

Programmes

Pick what fits your plate

Three ways to work together, all built on the same idea: food should give you energy and pleasure, not homework and guilt.

About monthly coaching

How it works

  1. A free hello call

Twenty minutes about how food fits your life right now. No forms to fill in, no judgement, no obligation.

  2. We make it doable

You get a plan built around your actual life — the shifts you work, the kids you feed, the foods you love too much to lose.

  3. It sticks

Friendly check-ins keep things honest and flexible, so the changes survive birthdays, deadlines and rainy Tuesdays.

Meet your coach

Hello! I'm Priya

Food was never the problem in our house — my mum fed half the street on a teacher's salary, and I grew up believing a good meal could fix most things. Then I trained as a nutritionist and met client after client who'd been taught to fear the very thing meant to nourish them: syn lists, "clean" eating, apps that scold you for a banana.

So I built a practice that gives people the plot back. I'm a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with a nutrition degree from the University of Leeds and a coaching certification on top, and for the last seven years I've helped shift workers, new parents, athletes and serial dieters make food feel simple — and joyful — again.

How I coach

Warmly, practically, and with actual evidence. No detoxes, no £40 powders, no moral panic about carbs — just small experiments, honest check-ins and changes sized to fit a real week. We add before we subtract, nothing gets banned, and you'll laugh more than you expected to at a nutrition appointment.

You'll find me in my little studio on Harrogate Road in Chapel Allerton, or on video calls with clients from Land's End to Shetland — usually with a cup of tea and somebody's food diary that we're being kind about.

Lovely words

From people who eat actual food

“I've done every diet going. Priya is the first person who made it feel like living rather than restricting — I have more energy than I've had in a decade and I still eat cake on Fridays.”
Gemma L.
“The 12-Week Reset sorted my 3pm slumps without banning a single thing. My only regret is not doing it two years earlier.”
Tom A.
“As a shift worker I'd given up on eating properly. Priya built everything around my rota instead of pretending I have evenings. Genuinely life-changing.”
Marcus F.

Fair questions

Asked with a raised eyebrow

Is this just a diet in a nicer font?
No. Diets hand you rules and an end date; we build habits with neither. Nothing is banned, nothing is off-limits, and you will never be handed a photocopied meal plan. If you're after a strict regime, I'm honestly not your coach — and I'll say so on the free call.
Do I need to give up the foods I love?
Absolutely not — loving food is a head start, not a problem. We add before we subtract: more colour, more protein, more meals you actually look forward to. The chocolate stays; the guilt goes.
How are sessions delivered?
Wherever suits you: in person at my Chapel Allerton studio, over video, or a proper old-fashioned phone call while you walk. Between sessions you can message me on WhatsApp, so small questions get answered while they're still small.
Will you make me buy supplements or superfoods?
No. I don't sell supplements, shakes or teas — and anyone who does while calling it coaching has a conflict of interest worth noticing. If something genuinely needs testing or prescribing, that's a GP conversation, and I'll tell you so.
I have a medical condition — can you still help?
Coaching supports your health; it doesn't treat conditions. For anything medical — diagnoses, medications, pregnancy — I work alongside your GP or dietitian, never instead of them. Plenty of clients arrive exactly this way; we simply build the plan with extra care.
What results can I actually expect?
The honest answer: it depends where you start and what you practise. Most people notice steadier energy and calmer mealtimes within a few weeks; the deeper shift — feeling genuinely relaxed around food — builds over months. I don't promise transformations. I promise you won't be doing it alone.
